Welcome

Welcome to Art and Stuff by Nicole! I recently earned my Bachelor's degree in studio art, and am now desperately trying to prove to my parents that the last five years have not gone to waste.
Nature has always been a passion of mine. In fact, I very nearly pursued a career in zoology. Then I realized that art requires far less research papers and dissection. I never looked back. However, I continue to express my love for wildlife in my art.
Oil painting and printmaking are my specialties, but I've grown to love photography as a medium. I love to exaggerate texture and minute details in my paintings and prints. Such detail can be a pain to execute, but the results are quite satisfying. My photographs are still admittedly amateur, but I've managed to capture some really special images that I'm eager to share.
Please enjoy my work, and don't hesitate to contact me with questions, comments, even criticism!

Art and stuff - by Nicole.

Hey folks! Thanks for checking out my art. And stuff. As you may have deduced, I'm Nicole. I recently earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in printmaking, and am now desperately trying to prove to my parents that the last 5 years have not been a total waste.

Most of my work is nature based. I have always had a great passion for animals, and in fact almost became a veterinarian. Then I realized that an art major spent far less time in the lab and writing research papers, so that decision wasn't hard to make.

Anyway, please enjoy my work, and feel free to comment, criticize, and ask me any questions!
